FIRST CONFESSIONAL YAY!!!
okay so I think the best way to do this is to go through these questions
First impression of my tribe:
Everyone seems super nice I like the tribe dynamic we have. It was pretty awkward the first night on the call but it seems like our tribe has some strong competitors which is great for challenges. There seems to be a wide range of personalities which is nice where there are some super out going people like Kilby, Ryan and Gina and some more laid back people like Jackson and Joshua and I think I fall somewhere in the middle. Some of the conversations we had in the tribe call I couldn't really relate to so I was definitely more on the quiet side but hopefully I can make one on one connections with people so that won't matter as much!
Impressions of other tribes:
I don't usually like to judge a book by its cover but I do think that the blue tribe looks more like a threat than the pink tribe at least challenge wise. I also recognize Antoinette from the blue tribe because I thinkkkk she goes to school with me but I don't know her personally but that's potentially a good connection to bond over in a merge or swap scenario.
Who could I see myself working with/impressions on people in general:
KILBY!!!! The two of us ended up calling immediately after the tribe call on the first night and we called for like an hour and we are super similar. We looked a little bit for the idol together but it was mostly him doing it and me just following along because I was trying to get used to the pro boards bc this is the first super organized ORG I've played before so I wasn't much help. But definitely see myself working with him especially if he trusted me enough to look for an idol together.
I can also see myself working well with Gina. She, Kilby and I all played Jackbox games one night and all vibed super well and had a lot of fun and got to know each other more so I think we can work well as a group.
Jackson is super reserved but he seems really nice. We dont have the best conversation flow but feel like that will get better when the game gets more involved.
Ryan is so so nice but I dont have much in common with him and he does scare me a bit because he has played BB Canada. He seems like a very loyal guy which can be good but I would have to make sure I'm the person he's loyal to.
Joshua seems very laid back and chill. I don't know if our personalities match very well but I want to get to know him more because he could be a good person to work with. He does seem to have a sense of over-confidence so maybe I can try appealing to that? We shall see
Dont want to work with:
I don't like to close myself off to working with people this early on I want to be as fluid as possible.
Strategy:
I want to seem like an asset to the tribe in challenges so I wouldn't be considered to go if we lose a challenge. I'm going to try to seem unproblematic and someone who will just do whatever other people tell me since I feel like some people might think they're in control (Ryan and Joshua) but actually try to be sneaky and know where the numbers are going so I can plan around it.
Worried about:
A guys alliance. Since its 4-2 guys to girls it could easily happen but I am going to try to talk to everyone so even if they try to pull something like that then I wouldn't be the first girl gone and then try to have mobility and plant distrust between the guys.
