GALAGA Tribe thoughts
King Kilby is still the earth, the sun, and the moon on this tribe.
Ryan is itching to play, but doesn't feel his tribe is very chatty. It's true, not much has changed for this tribe... it's getting stale. Or maybe they just really don't care for Ryan's game talk because it's a bad idea they don't plan to actually do.
Spitzer is deeply in love with his Ryan and Kilby chat. I like Spitzer, I really do. I think Spitzer is an interesting character...but I'm not liking him in this grouping. I need him to get swapped away from this mess and be the pregame Spitzer and start from scratch.
Taylor now knows about the bro-down, hoe-down from Kilby. So sounds like a good time to get Gina in the loop. Nope. Taylor thinks this means she needs to try to be more social with Ryan and Spitzer. She's definitely annoyed by the guys alliance that was thrown out to her. Though currently not concerned enough to stick her neck out for Gina if her name comes up from the majority.
Meanwhile, Gina feels like she puts effort to talk to Taylor and doesn't get the same effort back, so would rather talk with Kilby and Spitzer. GALAGA Tribe is at such a slow pace compared to the other tribes.
Speaking of slow, Jackson is in his own little world. He seems to be the least blindly loyal subjects to Kilby (which will likely be to his detriment) But it's only because he is so nonchalant about everything. He does say he feels good with Taylor. Honestly, if Taylor was a bit more assertive with him, I feel like she could get Jackson in her pocket and he would be a much better option than Kilby for her long-term game. But she's under Kilby's spell.
Kilby is going insane with having such ideal conditions this early in a game. He says that if they go to tribal, he will con Ryan and Spitzer into voting off Jackson to get rid of the bro-down hoe-down. He also thinks he will flip if there is a swap because his tribe is so boring to him... except he possibly might stay loyal to taylor. I think he would be making such a bad move ditching his loyal subjects, but the game is too stale for him too. Maybe he would be having the crazy, insanity he craves if he was on XEVIOUS tribe.
If there is not a swap on the horizon, it will be interesting to see if Kilby or Ryan or even Spitzer throw a challenge just to get in on the action and liven up the tribe.

XEVIOUS tribe thoughts
What a tragic start to a season! The ship is sinking for my favorite tribe. We lost such a dynamic force that was Malkon! But what an entertaining arc!
Nicholas was not happy Malkon shared the fact that Malkon had the idol with Van. He didn't feel as special or powerful and saw he was slowly being replaced by Van as a tight duo with Malkon. So ultimately he decided to go with Ben and Kari. But now if they lose again, he may need to break up Kari and Ben and try to make up with Van or risk being the third wheel to a duo that formed before him. Of course best case they need to win the third challenge.
Malkon was so suspicious and paranoid all last round that Nicholas and Kari were up to something! He was going back and forth on playing it. His paranoia (which could have easily been prevented with some simple checking in from Nicholas, Ben, and Kari) could have definitely caused the plan to backfire. But late in the hour Nicholas swooped in and said the magic words to keep Malkon from playing the idol.
Malkon handled it much better than I expected, though he tried to let the tribe know that Nicholas is a sneaky one and knew about the idol much longer than he had previously let on. Nicholas went into self defense mode because he didn't want Kari and Ben to think he was more involved in the idol hunt with Malkon...but if Kari and Ben were intuitive, the reaction from Nicholas should have revealed that he WAS trying to cover it up...when you are too quick to be reactionary then you usually do have something to hide. But I don't think they picked up on it because Kari was basking in loyalty paying off and Ben was too busy gloating.
Ben has been so lucky up to this point! He had so much confidence that his group of three were playing the round perfectly by not talking too much to Malkon, but Malkon needed more reassurance. It worked, mostly due to others' management of Malkon. But nonetheless now Ben's confidence is through the roof and the sass is coming out strong in his confessionals!!! Oh no🤦🏻
Kari has moved herself into such a good position now that Malkon is gone. I believe now both Nicholas and Ben view her as their closest alli. Though Nicholas is aware he's likely second to Ben for her. I don't think the round was handled with the best finesse, but it worked in the end. I did like that she had a safe word ready in case they thought Malkon might play his idol. But what was it?
Van comparing her tribe to a slow moving train after losing the challenge😬...I'd say the train is coming faster than she thought and she just got hit hard with the Malkon blindsided. I feel so bad for Van in this position...but the confessional right after is sooo good! She's really not happy with Kari and Nicholas...and rightfully so. And was never that close with Ben since she voted for him to go. Van is ready to jump ship, she just has to really hope they win the next challenge.
If they continue the losing streak it looks like Van would be the easy vote. But it might be in Nicholas' best interest to try to divide Kari and Ben...but worth rocks? Probably not🤷🏻

ZAXXON Tribe thoughts
The fact that this tribe can have a movie night (Alexander, Antoinette, and Gaston watching High School Musical) while other tribes are deep into blindsides and forging loyalty really shows how bizarrely this game has begun. So much 'hanging out' will make this tribe very close, but sometimes that can mean being blind to the game at hand once the time comes and sticking with allies who you don't have the best bet to win against.
Alexander confirms that Marcellino did not have a blue lives or all lives matter shirt, it was a shirt from his church that says live courageously. Now the tribe is souring on Jumi jumping to conclusions. And Marcellino is now doing shirtless confessionals 🤷🏻
Jumi told Antoinette she didn't trust Alexander. It got back to him and he confronted her asking her why. Jumi said she prefers targeting 'straight, white males' like him. But Alexander is Latino and not straight🤣🤣🤣
Alexander now also found out from his tribe that Jumi says he's been flirting with her. So he really doesn't trust her and her perceptions.
For Jumi, if she realizes everything she said is getting spread around...she should start saying positive things about her tribemates (even if she doesn't mean it) ....such as 'i just trust Gaston the most out of everyone' or 'Alexander is my person on this tribe' Then when the tribemates talk, it might make them think twice about targeting her if they hear it from other people...and it can make the others nervous that some people are playing the field too much. But at this point it might be too late since Jumi has dug a hole and proceeded to jump in it.
Ali is beginning to realize the tide is turning on his number one. But will he have time to set himself apart? Also Ali filmed an entire confessional with himself out of frame, in a dark room, whispering. Honestly, not the worst confessional he ever filmed. I was in a game with him where he decided to record a confessional through Skype while we were in a five person alliance chat, he muted and recorded then accidentally posted it in the main tribe chat with all of our alliance voices talking over his confessional and just served on a silver platter to the other players🤦🏻
Genesis4 is the majority alliance and includes everyone except Ali and Jumi. Although it appears the real power is with the Homework Club of Antoinette, Alexander, and Gaston. But both Alexander and Antoinette view the other as the third in that pecking order. So Gaston is sitting really nice in all of this.

Blue:
Jumi - Came in looking for Trump supporters and straight white males to target so much so that she is incorrectly assigning people these roles. And people know she is doing this, she told Alex she thought he was a straight white male, and it got back to Marcellino that she thought (and still thinks?) he was wearing a blue lives matter shirt. I don't see any way she survives a tribal with this group, she was already on the outs before all of this info. Also Alex knows Jumi thinks he was hitting on her. oof. Even if he was it's not great that this info got back to him. She is talking way too much shit to the wrong people. She managed to get invited to zero of her tribe's 1000 alliances. And she is not coming clean about the fact she won a live game. I never understand why people lie about games they won and people know when those things are easily provable and someone in the game probably already has the info, which Kilby does. Maybe don't volunteer the information but if someone is directly asking you about it I think it's really silly to lie. It's likely the person asking already knows or will check your info. Better to be a former game winner than a liar imo. Ali was the only one that seemed to really want to work with her and now he is suspicious of her so things are not looking good at all. She needs to hope they win every challenge or someone else screws up royally.
Gaston - I think he's in a great position in the middle of the tribe. Not overplaying, not underplaying. Very likable. In group chats without being in all of them.
Ali - Doing a little better than Jumi but not much. I think he made it into one of 1000 alliances. Will prob be saved by the fact that Jumi is rubbing everyone the wrong way. Could see him going out if this tribe goes to two tribals but I doubt they will.
Alex - Doing great, I really like him. He comes off very charismatic in his confessionals so I'm not surprised people want to work with him. Probably leading the tribe rn.
Antoinette - In every single alliance chat... which means she's a part of everything but this could easily come back to bite her if it gets out. Doing well for now but could see her overplaying if she keeps it up at this pace. Needs to hope people don't compare notes.
Marcellino - Very likable guy. Was worried about him bc of Jumi targetting him but sounds like people are now aware that what she was saying wasn't true and she doesn't have any power. I think hell be around for a while.

Pink:
Van - poor Van. The only way I could see them saving themselves if they go to another tribal is by playing up the fact that Nich was a double agent and keeping things from Kari/Ben. At the end of the day he chose Kari and Ben though and helped them the first round, so I don't see them turning on him now for someone who tried to vote one of them out.
Nich - I think he went with the right side. Best case scenario for him is that they go to one more tribal and he gets Van out so he doesn't have an enemy in the game come swap. Still playing a solid game. Very charismatic likable guy.
Ben - Has a strong ally in Kari. Should easily make it to swap at this point.
Kari - Playing a strong game. Things should be smooth sailing for now. She has her two righthand guys and they will be a strong group come swap and merge as opposed to alliances on other tribes who haven't had to vote yet and test their bonds.

Gray:
Kilby - still the center of the tribe. Will decide who leaves if they go to tribal.
Taylor - Really liking her. Probably the most active person on the tribe. Kilby is her closest person.
Jackson - Really likes Taylor. Taylor isn't as big on him but he's trying with her more than Ryan/Josh so I think she'll protect. There is talk of him getting into a four with Kilby/Taylor but I guess they haven't decided on a fourth yet. This is a great spot for him if it happens.
Ryan - Was worried about him bc of all the men thing but Kilby said he really likes him now so I think he'll survive a tribal.
Gina - The early target of the guys. Taylor even said she'd be okay with her going. If she tried a little harder with Taylor it would probably go a long way since Taylor knows about the men's alliance. Kilby really likes her though so I think she'd survive a vote.
Joshua - probably screwed if they go to tribal. Very disappointed in him. Taylor claims he's not trying with her at all. I guess he just assumes the guy's thing is a go and he doesn't need to speak to the girls, which is gross if true. Kilby claims he spams him so he's not just inactive.

Jumi had all of the tools to do well, but unfortunately her tendency to trash talk people led to her downfall She shouldn't have trusted everyone, and should have picked 1 person instead. Jackson just didn't do enough, not shocked at all he left. He's a super good sport tho Swap time hehe
